Still around the corner, there may wait, a new road or a secret gate.
– J.R.R. Tolkien
Traveling the U.S. has yielded several magical adventures for me. Unlike some of my favorite destinations around the world, the terrain and culture of different states and locales is vast. You can drive three hours, or take a short plane ride, and suddenly you’re in a completely different place with people who have a different accent and way of living. If it’s warm, beach weather you’re craving for breakfast, and then cool mountain air by the fire for dinner, it’s attainable. With so much land, both populated and unpopulated, the options are endless and take my wanderlust to new heights.
